Build What Matters
We believe in backing new ideas and opportunities which, in combination with great product design, technology and team, will change our collective future for the better.
How we work.
At 20fifty, we are passionate about building self-sustaining services and products that balance commercial and customer needs; can be built with the resources and technology at our disposal; and which have the ability to change our collective future for the better.
Build what matters.
When it comes to creating digital solutions, it is easy to get overly immersed in either the technology, the user needs, the business imperatives or all of the above. Using a framework to guide how we solve for a problem and build a scalable solution, allows us to #BuildWhatMatters.
Service Design Process
In collaboration with our clients, we navigate the complete journey of bringing solutions to life. Starting with research, idea generation, and the definition of a clear value proposition, we validate a solution through rapid prototyping and user testing.
01
Explore & Ideate
Conduct research to develop an understanding of the various users as well as the business and user needs.
02
Synthesis & Ideate
Combine all of the research and observe where the users’ problems arise. Engage in divergent thinking sessions to generate a range of ideas to solve the defined problem.
03
Design
Define the solution by transforming the ideas into tangible customer proposi-tions. Create prototypes of the solution to be placed in users hands for validation.
04
Prove
Validate the solution with users while continuously enhancing the test cases to confirm or debunk assumptions, and fine-tune the customers value proposition.
05
Refine
Create a final blueprint for what the solution should comprise of, including feature prioritisation and recommendations for the way forward. #BuildWhatMatters

Post Launch
If required, maintenance and support of the product post-release. Alternatively a full handover.
Benefits of being process driven.
Our approach undoubtedly means there are many factors to consider, however in our experience, having more parameters to work with guides team work more effectively and leads to more innovative solutioneering and better products and services.
Process provide structure, predictability, and transparency around how work gets done.
Clear alignment on responsibilities and handoffs at each development stage, from service design to production deploys, minimises waste and rework.
Better planning and estimation of timelines and costs, plus they provide a framework for prioritising tasks effectively based on project needs.
Create opportunities for continuous feedback and incremental improvements over time.
